To The Season!

It should be of note that I have started this season prior to the start of this blog.  The idea of this blog has rejuvenated my desire to play this season and I am hoping to finish the season in a month or two.  Having only completed 10 days of the 48 total days in the season there is still a long way to go and no one has missed out on the drama of a pennant race!  So without much further ado, I'll post the standings as they are currently and the next post will be actual games. Enjoy!

  1. I'll be surprised if the Cards can keep up that pace. Sure they score a ton, but once you get past the Dean brothers, their pitching is suspect. They'll be dangerous in the playoffs, but first place? I look for the Dodgers and '61 Yankees to stage a close race for first, their power should overcome whatever pitching deficiencies they have. The Cardinals and the '01 Yankees should complete the playoff field, with the Orioles making a run if they ever get off the snide.

    Interesting league!

  2. I agree for the most part but I think the Giants will be more competitive than the '01 Yanks. The Yanks pitching seems to be getting mauled by all the big bats in this league. Watch for the O's for a late playoff push. .500 will probably get you into the playoffs in this league.
